From 16 to 24 November, the Municipality of Baião is joining the European Week for Waste Reduction, an initiative that aims to alert and raise public awareness of the importance of reducing waste production and, this year in particular, combating food waste. Under the slogan ‘Food Waste Has No Taste’, this initiative emphasises the urgency of adopting practices that contribute to reducing food waste, promoting more responsible and sustainable management of resources.
The municipality of Baião is once again reinforcing its environmental commitment by promoting a series of activities this week that aim to mobilise the community for this cause. The aim is to raise awareness of the environmental and social impact of food waste, encouraging practices that favour its reduction.
To follow these and other activities that the municipality has prepared, stay tuned to social media where information and tips will be shared on how everyone can participate and contribute to a more sustainable and conscious community.
Because the fight against food waste starts with each and every one of us, join this campaign and make a difference!
