On the 24th, 26th and 28th of April, 153 8th grade students and their teachers from the three groups of schools in the municipality of Baião, visited the landfill of Resinorte’s waste treatment plant, in Celorico de Basto.
The visit was promoted by the Education Department, within the scope of the Municipal Educational Project and the Annual Plan of Activities presented to the municipality’s groups, with the aim of
sensitize students to the importance of recycling.
After lunch at Parque Florestal de Amarante, a visit was made to CENASEF – Centro Nacional de Sementes Florestais, where students got to know the work carried out there.
