The second phase of applications for the “Vale Eficiência” program is underway, aimed
at economically vulnerable families at risk of energy poverty who are not in social
housing.
The aim of this program is to help mitigate situations of energy poverty and social
vulnerability by awarding vouchers to economically vulnerable families who live in
buildings where there is potential energy poverty.
Each family can benefit from a maximum of three vouchers, worth 1,300 euros each, to
improve the energy performance of their permanent home and its living conditions.
Beneficiary applications will be accepted until October 31, 2024, or until the allocation
is exhausted.
The “Vale Eficiência” program is aimed at individuals living in mainland Portugal,
excluding companies and residents of the autonomous regions of Madeira and the
Azores.
