On the 12th of January, a workshop was held in the Town Hall as part of the Eco.Fire project, developed by researchers from the University of Minho (UM) in the Municipality of Baião.
Eco.Fire intends to develop new methodologies for the economic assessment of the damage and impacts of forest fires in areas affected by fires, mechanisms for collecting relevant information for the prevention of forest fires and also, a mobile application for assessing economic damage and environmental impacts of fires.
