‘Don’t throw it all down the drain!’ took to the stage at the Baião Municipal Auditorium!
Promoted by Águas do Norte and organised by the Municipality of Baião, through its Education and Environment departments, this play took young people on a fun and educational trip to the WWTP – Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Aimed at boys and girls participating in summer activities at various institutions in the municipality, the initiative was attended by 292 students, who experienced a moment of discovery, where environmental awareness was combined with fun.
Accompanied by Scientist Rui and the curious Maria Francisca, an enthusiastic student, the pupils explored the importance of sustainability and water treatment with humour and creativity.
The message is clear: each of us has an active role to play in protecting water and raising awareness in the community.
A true encounter between science, theatre and environmental education, which delighted and taught!
