As part of the celebration of World Environment Day on 5 June, Baião Municipal Council, through the Environment department, organised a clean-up campaign along national roads 321 and 108.
The initiative focused on collecting plastic, glass and ‘household rubbish’ deposited on the sides of the roads, and hundreds of kilos of waste were collected and sent for recycling.
