“By talking we can eliminate violence”, is a set of ‘workshops’ promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Tâmega e Sousa (CIM-TS), within the scope of Unidas – Intermunicipal Victim Support Network of Douro, Tâmega e Sousa.
On the 24th of October, the Baião Municipal Auditorium will promote the tenth of eleven workshops in this cycle, under the theme “Domestic Violence against the Elderly: Reality and Solutions”.
This initiative is especially aimed at members of the specialized municipal networks of the Unidas Network and aims to provide technicians with tools and good practices in intervening with elderly victims of domestic violence, advocating premises and guidelines that can support them in their professional practices.
The workshop takes place exclusively in person and participation is free, but subject to prior registration.
