Celebration of National Water Day, which was marked on the first day of October.

This morning, the Ovil River Ecological Corridor welcomed a visit from 10th grade students from the Vale de Ovil School Group, in celebration of National Water Day, which was marked on the first day of October.
The initiative, promoted by the Environment and Education Units of the Baião Municipal Council, in collaboration with the Vale de Ovil School Group, began in the Fraga do Rio Leisure Area, followed by a tour of the Ecological Corridor, which included practical activities to assess water quality and contact with species of fauna and flora.
It should be noted that the Ovil River Ecological Corridor is part of the municipal strategy to enhance the municipality’s main waterways, namely the Ovil and Teixeira rivers, within the framework of measures aimed at sustainability.
