Today, 28 March, between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm, the world is coming together to switch off the lights and raise environmental awareness.
Earth Hour is a global initiative promoted by the World Wide Fund for Nature, which draws attention to the climate crisis and the loss of biodiversity. For 60 minutes, millions of people, businesses and cities around the world switch off their lights as a sign of commitment to a more sustainable future.
The Municipality of Baião is joining this cause and will be switching off the lights at the Town Hall.
We invite all residents of Baião to join in this symbolic gesture in their homes.
How to take part:
- Switch off the lights between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm;
- Take this moment to reflect on the impact of our actions on the planet;
- Share this initiative with friends and family.
Small gestures can make a difference.
Together, we can build a greener and more sustainable future.
