As part of the strategic work that the Municipality of Baião has been carrying out in the fields of water, sanitation and waste management, the Municipal Executive has organised a wide range of institutional meetings over the past few weeks with key entities in the sector, namely: Resinorte, Águas do Norte, Simdouro and Águas do Douro e Paiva.
The aim of these meetings was to deepen inter-institutional cooperation, gather technical input and align priorities for action, both in terms of ongoing investments and the planning of future initiatives.
The Municipal Executive sought to ensure that all strategic decisions incorporate criteria of sustainability, operational efficiency and the continuous improvement of public services, guaranteeing appropriate responses to the needs of the population.
The municipality’s active participation helps to consolidate an integrated view of the challenges facing the region, strengthen coordination between the various operators and create the conditions for the coordinated implementation of structural projects that will improve the sanitation and water supply network throughout the municipality.
