The Municipal Auditorium is hosting the ‘Natal Verde’ (Green Christmas) exhibition, which showcases work created by students at the Baião Senior University as part of the ‘Aula Livre’ (Free Class), a creativity class where various items related to the Christmas season were produced using recycled materials.
This showcase of the creativity of Baião’s senior citizens opened to the public last Saturday, attended by the Councillor responsible for Health and Quality of Life, Olívia Mendes, and students from the Baião Senior University.
The exhibition reflects the commitment, creativity and artistic sensitivity of the students, combining creative expression with the promotion of sustainability and the Christmas spirit.
This initiative highlights the work carried out at the Baião Senior University and reinforces the importance of active ageing, civic participation and the connection between the community and the municipality’s cultural spaces.
