The pedestrian circuit extends for about 900 meters, facing the National Road 211, is 2.50 m wide and was built on granite guides, featuring a platform in pigmented porous concrete and incorporating an iron protection guard throughout. its extension.
The requalification of the riverside area of Baião involved an investment of 537 thousand euros, being financed in 455 thousand euros by the Regional Operational Program for the North – North 2020.
This is a work of great importance to improve the mobility and safety of citizens, enhancing the tourist value that the Douro River offers and reinforcing its role in the development strategy of the Municipality of Baião.
