Resilience and Sustainability in Rural Territories debated at MACC Baião
This morning, the Auditorium of the Monastery of Ancede Cultural Centre – MACC Baião is hosting the Agro Douro Verde talks – Resilience and Sustainability in Rural Territories. An event organised by the City Council.
The rural world is being analysed in a meeting of ideas, projects and challenges that brings together mayors, association leaders, regional leaders and national representatives with links to the world of agriculture and forestry.
At the opening session, the mayor of Baião, Paulo Pereira, referred to the municipality’s strategy for agriculture and forestry and listed some measures, projects and ideas for the future and the challenges ahead.
Other topics on the agenda include Adaptation to Climate Change; Forest Intervention Zones; the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan; and the Region’s Hunting Potential.
The Councillor for Economic Affairs, José Lima, will close the session.
