Environmental Fund opens application period for incentives for the purchase of low-emission vehicles
The Environmental Fund has announced the launch of a new incentive programme for the purchase of new low-emission vehicles, with a total budget of €17.6 million. Applications can be submitted from 29 December 2025 and will remain open until 12 February 2026 or until the budget is exhausted.
The support is retroactive to 1 January 2025, thus covering purchases already made since the beginning of the year. The amounts vary according to the type of beneficiary and the equipment purchased:
Light electric passenger vehicles: between €4,000 and €5,000;
Bicycles: between €500 and €1,500;
Chargers for electric vehicles are also eligible.
Vehicle categories covered by the incentive:
100% electric passenger cars;
Cargo bicycles, with or without electric assistance;
Electric and conventional bicycles;
Electric motorcycles, mopeds, tricycles and quadricycles;
Chargers for electric vehicles installed in multi-family condominiums.
