To celebrate World Environmental Education Day on 26 January, the Municipality of Baião is inviting the whole community to read books on topics that are in some way related to the environment and sustainability.
As this is a topic of great importance to Baião – the first Portuguese municipality to be recognised as a Sustainable Tourist Destination – we suggest requesting books from our Municipal Library, which is also part of the sustainability framework.
A contribution to reducing consumption and reusing resources, as well as encouraging reading and fostering knowledge.
