Today, 22 March, between 8.30pm and 9.30pm, the world will switch off its lights to raise environmental awareness.
Earth Hour is a global movement promoted by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) that warns of the climate crisis and the loss of biodiversity. For 60 minutes, millions of people, companies and cities switch off their lights as a symbol of their commitment to a sustainable future.
The Municipality of Baião joins this cause and will switch off the lights in the Town Hall.
We invite all Baião residents to do the same at home.
How to take part:
- Switch off the lights between 8.30 and 9.30.
- Take this time to reflect on the impact of our actions on the planet.
- Share this gesture with friends and family.
Small actions create big changes!
Together, we can create a greener, more sustainable future.
