Green Team focused on the Sustainable Development Goals

The Green Team participated in several initiatives included in the scope of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, sharing good practices and experiences, essential for the process of Baião: Sustainable Tourist Destination, namely in the 4 pillars of sustainability: environmental, social , cultural and economic.

Online lecture “Management of water resources and urban waters”, by Patrícia Bilotta from the Federal University of São Carlos, promoted by the Environmental Monitoring and Interpretation Center of Vila do Conde, on November 22nd. SDG 6, 11 and 12.

Webinar “46 years of democratic local power: The new municipal challenges”, with the participation of the Secretary of State for Local Administration and Spatial Planning, Carlos Miguel, on December 12, as part of SDG 16.

Conference “Environmental Sustainability, the Future is Today”, promoted by AHRESP, on the 12th of December, in Évora. This session had four debate panels: Energy efficiency – What actions to implement?; Water – How to make better use of this resource?; Packaging and packaging waste – What future? and Food Waste and Bio-Waste – How Can We Be More Effective?. The second panel had the intervention of the President of the Board of Directors of ERSAR – Regulatory Entity for Water and Waste Services, Vera Eiró. SDG 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13.

IPDT Tourism Conference Warm Up, on December 14th, in online format, dedicated to discussing the 2023 Tourism Agenda. of the “Portugal” destination in the international market, financial sustainability of companies, innovation and digital transition of companies and sustainability in tourism.
