On the 17th of January, a meeting was held between members of the Green Team, the team responsible for the certification process of Baião as a Sustainable Tourist Destination, and the Logistics Sector.
The central objective was to define guidelines and good practices for the promotion of sustainable or environmentally responsible events, in the first phase those held by the City Council.
Subsequently, new meetings will be promoted, with other event promoters, in order to expand these measures, in a philosophy of continuous improvement and complying with the sustainability criteria of the certifying entity.
The possibility of submitting an application for funding for Communication, Awareness and Environmental Education Actions was also discussed.
