It regulates climate change and has a fundamental influence on the protection of human and animal health and the balance of ecosystems.
His protection is therefore essential for the preservation of life on Earth. The celebration of this date was created through Resolution 49/114 adopted at the United Nations General Assembly on January 23, 1995.
