As part of the certification of Baião as a Sustainable Tourist Destination, a meeting was held on the 14th of June to extend the “Green Team” to entities outside the Municipality of Baião.
The purpose of this team is to lead this project and the inclusion of these new members will allow the collection of proposals, ideas and new ways of acting, in a perspective of “Think Global, Act Local”.
In addition to the technicians from the municipality, were invited and were presente, the Director of the School Group of Eiriz, José Matos, the Director of the School Group of Southeast Baião, Manuela Miranda, the President of Eco Simbioses – Environmental and Cultural Association of the Ovil Valley, Sara Pereira, the President of the Business Association of Baião, Maria Miguel Dinis Correia, and the Secretary General of AMBT – Association of Municipalities of Baixo Tâmega, Ricardo Magalhães.
The School Group of Vale de Ovil and Dolmen – Local and Regional Development, CRL were also invited.
