The Municipality of Baião joins the World Day for Nature Conservation created by the UN General Assembly to encourage and raise awareness to the protection of the environment and the urgent need for its conservation.
This day, celebrated in Portugal as the National Day for Nature Conservation, aims to honor the associative movement in defense of the environment and create an annual moment of special reflection on this topic.
