In the recent edition of the “Feira do Fumeiro, Cozido à Portuguesa and Vinhos de Baião”, new sustainability measures were adopted, awareness campaigns were developed, in addition to actions such as the separation of organic waste from catering for treatment, placement of several ecopoints and the provision of drinking fountains (points for free water supply). Similar to what has been happening with all the events organized by the City Council, this Fair has also become a sustainable event, in line with the environmental policies and practices followed by the municipality and with certification as a Sustainable Tourist Destination.
