The Association of Municipalities of Baixo Tâmega (AMBT) released the first of five new films promoting the Serra da Aboboreira.

In this video we find a family consisting of grandmother, daughter and granddaughter, who explore, together, the potential that Aboboreira has as an active tourism destination and that provides activities for all tastes and ages.
“Serra da Aboboreira is an ancient space, with an important natural and cultural heritage. It is a reference for the municipalities of Amarante, Baião and Marco de Canaveses and for its people. Through this project we want to disseminate the potential of this mountain range and contribute to its sustainable development and the creation of opportunities and wealth for the inhabitants of the various counties ”, explains the president of the Association of Municipalities of Baixo Tâmega and the Municipality of Baião Paulo Pereira.
In the coming days, four more videos will be released. Two dedicated to the aspects of culture and nature and two other videos, longer and with special characteristics.
Headquartered in Amarante, AMBT brings together the municipalities of Amarante, Baião, Celorico de Basto, Marco de Canaveses and Resende. The Association is an important actor to provide the joint work of the different municipalities, in common interests for the territories, from which the tourist promotion and valorization of endogenous products, natural and cultural heritage stands out.
